Rosemary Duff, age 74, of Canton formerly of Hartville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday February 17, 2009. She was born in Charlestown, OH on April 23, 1934 to the late Herbert and Belva (Hissom) Cummins, and for years was a cashier at the IGA in Hartville. More recently she worked at Walmart in the Greenhouse at the Strip. She loved flowers and adored her family. Preceded in death by daughters Lori Bair and Vicky Duff, baby grandsons Brian Bair and Andrew Duff and sisters Doris Matti and Nancy Nash. Survived by her husband of 53 years Rex E. Duff Jr.; sons Jon Duff of Canton, David Duff and daughter-in-law Trudy Duff both of VA; grandchildren Chris (Angie) Duff of VA, Nicholas Bair of Hartville, Michael Duff of VA, Joshua Bair of Canton, and Courtney Duff of VA; great-grandson Kaleb Duff; sisters Shirley Days of Carrollton and Lois (Dwain) Walker of FL; brother-in-law Donald Nash of Massillon; other relatives and friends. Calling hours are Friday 6-8 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. Funeral services are Saturday 1:00 PM in St. Jacobs Lutheran Church with Pastor Leah Schafer officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services in the church on Saturday (12-1 PM) Final resting place is the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jacobs Church.
