Rose Smuckler age 99 of Canton passed away Tuesday evening, May 10, 2022, in Allay Senior Care Center in Canton. She was born June 15, 1922, in Canton to Isadore and Esther (Bez) Katz.

Rose was a member of Shaaray Torah Synagogue, Sisterhood, was an avid bowler and volunteered at the Veterans Administration.

Preceded in death by her husband Morris Smuckler in 2014, a sister Dorothy Baskin and brother Joseph Katz. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Joe and Shelley Smuckler of Creve Coeur, MO.; grandchildren, Lori Smuckler, Julie Steiner, David Smuckler; great grandchildren Evan and Zoey Steiner.

Funeral services will be Friday May 13, 1:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home 1517 Market Ave N. with Cantor Bruce Braun officiating. Interment will be in Canton Hebrew Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Shaaray Torah Synagogue.
