Ronald A. Myers, 75, of North Canton, passed away on May 31, 2024, at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on August 22, 1948, in Keokuk, Iowa to the late Joseph O. and Letha A. (Hilgenbrink) Myers, Sr.

Ron proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era and sub service.

He worked as a nuclear engineer for General Electric and retired after 25+ years of service.

Ron enjoyed being involved in the community. He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons, as well as a member of the Gyro Club, a social club for men who did philanthropic work in the area. In his spare time, Ron was an avid golfer. He also liked to keep his mind sharp with sudoku puzzles or watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Ron was also very proud of his Native American Heritage and loved sharing that with his daughter, Shana.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Sandra (Burt) Myers and will have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on June 7th.

He also leaves behind his daughter, Shana Myers Schweikert; grandchildren, Rianna Schweikert, Nathan Schweikert, Tommy Schweikert as well as nieces and nephews.

The family is hosting a celebration of life at Sandy's home on August 22, 2024, beginning at 3 p.m.
