Obituary

Roger F. Clark, age 81, of Hartville passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in his residence surrounded by family members. He was born on December 22, 1934 in Akron to the late Russell H. and Josephine (Fanelli) Clarke. Roger was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Randolph and its choir. He attended St Martha's Catholic School and North High School. He worked for Goodyear Aerospace, Bender Loudon for 28 years and Dutch Harbor Marina. Roger was a Boy Scout Master with Troop 307 in Akron where he received the Father of the Year Award. Also a member of AOPA, EAA, Taylorcraft Flying Club, Skypark Flying Association, and the Teamsters Local 24 in Akron. He also volunteered at Pegasus Farm for many years.

He is survived by his wife Juanita (Heimberger) Clark; daughter Janae Ellis of Palm Springs, CA; sons Richard of Hartville, Dennis and Tina of Kent, Jon and partner Metro Hanzel of Stow. Seven grandchildren, Amanda (David) Brake, Matthew Clark, Roger Jon Clark, Austin Ellis, Sydney Ellis, Piper Clark, Aria Clark and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Richard Clark just three hours prior to his death.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Randolph with Fr. Thomas Acker S.C. celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8:00 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. Memorials may be made to the church.
