Roberta "Bobbi" Maxwell Young, age 63 of Canton, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday August 14, 2013 in Port Clinton, Ohio while vacationing with her family at Lakeside. She was born in Canton on March 7, 1950 to John "Jack" and Margaret "Peg" (Winchell) Maxwell. Bobbi graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1968 and received her Bachelor's in Education from Wittenberg University in 1972. She was a member of Church of the Savior, P.E.O. and the Canton Women's Club. Bobbi is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, David M. Young; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Brian Baker of Powell, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Alex Young and Dr. Gretchen Fox of Chicago, Illinois; three grandchildren, Olivia, Owen and Graceyn Baker, brother and wife, Dr. Richard Maxwell and Deb Zeiters of Prescott, Arizona; and sister in-law Pamela Dodds. Calling hours will be Monday evening 5-8:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton. A memorial service to celebrate Bobbi's life will be Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at Church of the Savior United Methodist Church with Dr. William R. Harvey officiating.
