Roberta R. (Ludwig) Miller, age 85 of North Canton, passed away Friday October 24, 2008. She was born July 6, 1923 in Canton to James and Martha (Fox) Raley. Roberta graduated from the Aultman School of Nursing. As a Career Registered Nurse she worked in many places including Richmond, Virginia, USS Good Hope, Ganada, Arizona, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and Aultman Hospital. Roberta was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church and volunteered for the Stark County Library and Aultman Hospital. Roberta was also an avid Bridge player. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Ludwig in 1971 and her second husband, Bill Miller in 1992 and sister, Ruth Ickes. Survivors include a daughter, Lucinda Staples of Memphis, Tennessee, son Donald Ludwig of North Canton, Ohio; sister, Janet Johnson of Ft. Myers, Florida; grandchildren, Crystell Oliver, Stacie Conley; great grandchildren, Jaylin Bonner, Octavius Waddlington and Makayla Wright. A memorial service will be Tuesday 11:00 a.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church, 415 West Tuscarawas St. Canton with Pastor Timothy Muse officiating.
