Robert D. "Weave" Weaver, age 62, of Canton, passed away Saturday morning, February 21, 2009 in Mercy Medical Center. He was born February 28, 1946 in Canton to Darel and Lena (Fry) Weaver and has been a lifetime resident of Canton. Robert was a 1964 graduate of McKinley High School, attended Bowling Green State University and Malone College. Mr. Weaver was a Sales Representative for Office Equipment Company and Business Interiors & Equipment Company. He was a member of First United Church of Christ, McKinley Lodge #431 F&AM, served on the communications committee for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Festival and volunteered at Schreiber Elementary School. Bob also loved McKinley Sports, The Ohio State University Football Team and the Cleveland Indians. He is survived by his wife, Sharon K.; daughters and a son-in-law, Kate and Ryan Pannell of Indianapolis, Indiana, Kris Weaver of Canton; granddaughter, Megan, brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard A. and Mary Jo Weaver of Columbus, Ohio, John D. and Diane Weaver of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and many close family members and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday 11:00 a.m. in First Church of the Resurrection, 901 East Tuscarawas St .with Rev. Dr. Bruce Mont officiating. Friends may call Tuesday evening 5-8:00 p.m. in the Arnold Funeral Home, 1517 Market Ave N., Canton, Ohio. A Masonic Service will be Tuesday 4:45p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
