Robert A. Shaw, age 79, of North Canton, passed away on Tuesday afternoon May 14, 2013. He was born in Hartville, Ohio on October 6, 1933 to the late Willis A. and Helen Marie (Hamilton) Shaw. He is a Korean War Army Veteran. He was a property manager for Citizen's Savings Bank and retired in 2000. He was hard working, a loving husband and father, and enjoyed fishing and wood working. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Gladys (Pontius) Shaw; daughter and son-in-law Joann and Tim Anderson of Dublin, OH; son Robert Shaw of North Canton, son and daughter-in-law Markel and Lisa Shaw of Mineral City, OH; grandchildren Stephanie Newton, Nathan Shaw and Joseph Shaw; brother Larry (Sande) Shaw of Hartville. Preceded in death by son Joseph R. Shaw in 1991 and sister Jeanette Pryor. Calling hours are Thursday May 16th 11 AM- noon at Arnold Funeral Home Hartville.
