Robert (Bob) Henry Schweitzer, age 78, of North Canton, passed away December 13, 2020 at Windsor Medical Center following a 12-year battle with MS recently complicated by COVID-19. He was born July 30, 1942 in the Bronx, NY to Irving and Julia (Ziskin) Schweitzer, was a Vietnam War Navy Veteran, graduated from the University of Akron, and obtained his master's degree in Social Work. He worked as a Psychiatric Social Worker at various sites in Ohio for over 30 years, practicing in Massillon for most of that time. Bob's family is proud of his lifelong dedication to helping others live their best lives. Bob was (mostly) unfailingly kind, easygoing, and non-judgmental, and he loved his family, learning, and travel.

He is preceded in death by his parents and son Jay. Bob is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Davina; daughters Reva and Staci; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Cathie & Sol Sturm; and special cousin Vivian Cowit. The family is thankful for the loving care and attention that Windsor Medical Center provided for the last 5.5 years.

Private graveside services for the family will be Friday, December 18 at 11:00 AM with Rabbi David Komerofsky officiating. The service will be livestreamed at the Arnold Funeral Home Facebook Page. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Israel.
