Robert Schoeppner

Robert Schoppner, age 77, of Waynesburg, passed away on June 4, 2026. He was born on September 21, 1948, to the late Ralph and Catherine (Schindler) Schoeppner. Bob graduated from Caldwell High School and served honorably in the United States Navy. He worked with the Timken Company for over 32 years as well as a commercial truck driver throughout the years. Bob was an active racing fan, traveling to NASCAR races with his family across the country as well as racing stock cars locally at the Canton Motor Speedway among other tracks. He loved following the Pittsburgh Steelers as well as camping.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents; siblings Judy Ginn and Dale Schoeppner.

He is survived by his wife of almost 54 years, Karen Schoeppner; children Chris (Rich) Campbell, Stacy (Ken) Walter, and Robert (fiancée Elizabeth Herron) Schoeppner II; grandchildren Taylor (Scott) Viront, A.J. Campbell, MaKenzie (Evan) Keck, Kenny (fiancée Jasmine Rock) Walter, Gage Walter, Isaac Schoeppner, Natalie Herron, Christina Herron, Ben Herron; great grandchildren Logan Viront, Landon Viront, and Della Keck; special niece Tailyn.

Calling hours will be Monday, June 15 from 4-6 PM at the Arnold Funeral Home at 1517 Market Ave N. Funeral services will begin at 6 PM with Celebrant Kevin O’Brien officiating.
