Robert Leo Schario, age 101, was born on September 11, 1923, to Leo and Clara Schario, and died on January 10, 2025. He received his faith foundation at St Benedict's Catholic Church and School. He graduated from McKinley High School Class of 1941. He served 10 years in the U.S. Navy in WWII and Korea.

He was married to Carol Shetler Schario for 68 years and is survived by their three children: Doug (Becky) Schario, Annette (Brian) Finley and Steve (Michelle) Schario; and grandchildren: Ryan Schario, Rachel (John) Fleming, Kathleen Finley, Hannah (Brian) Benton, Elizabeth (Cameron) Collier, Julianne (Ben) Kimball, Matthew Schario, Adam Schario, Mallory Schario, Jon Schario and Ellie Schario; and great-grandchildren: Kollyns and Rowan Fleming, Annie Kimball, and Halle and Simon Collier.

Robert's career was as Director of Purchasing at Bowman Medical, Inc. He was the longtime secretary/treasurer of the Canton McKinley Rifle and Pistol Club. His interests were his family, hunting, bowling and bocce.

Robert was laid to rest by his family in a private ceremony at Foxfield Preserve of the Wilderness Center.
