Robert Lee Robinson Sr. , age 81, of Canton, passed away on Tuesday September 4, 2012. He was born April 22, 1931 in Barrackville, West Virginia to the late Densil and Pansy (Gray) Robison. He was a Korean War Army Veteran, a Corporal who served with the 27th Infantry Regiment. He retired from Wean United where he was a lathe operator. He loved his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids, camping and traveling. Survived by his four children Karen Painter of Canal Fulton, Debbie and Keith Painter of Louisville, Pam and Paul Beck of East Canton, Robert L. Robinson Jr. of Alliance; 6 grandchildren Raymond Painter Jr., Michael (Vanessa) Painter, Kelly (Scott) Newcomb, Jason (Presley) Painter, Kristen (Daniel) Wilcox, Jeff and Amanda Beck; 8 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way; siblings Rex (Joyce) Robison of Canton and Mary Lou Bailey of Canton; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by first wife Alice L. Robinson in 1980, second wife Becky Robinson in 2005; 2 brothers William and Densil Jr. Robison. Calling hours are Friday 12 noon to 2 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home. Funeral services are Friday 2 PM in the funeral home with son-in-law Keith Painter officiating.
