Robert J. Morrison, age 79, of North Canton died Tuesday afternoon in Aultman Hospital after an extended illness. Born in Coshocton, OH to the late Thomas and Hilda (Bordenkircher) Morrison he had resided here since 1968. A Navy Veteran of WW II, Mr. Morrison was a retired corporate pilot. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, OES #580, Hoover Lodge #770 F&AM, AASR Valley of Canton, A.O.P.A., E.C.O.P.A.,and QB's. Survivors include his wife of 52 years: Joan (Polen) Morrison of the residence. Daughter: Mrs. Dale (Bethanne) Miller of N. Canton. Granddaughter: Kelli Miller. Two sisters: Lois Donovan of Coshocton, and Patricia Grier of FL. Several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded by a brother: Richard Morrison. Funeral service will be Saturday 11:00 A.M. in Faith United Methodist Church with Dr. Larry F. Morrison and Dr. Irwin E. Jennings officiating. Interment will be in North Canton Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. in the Spiker-Foster-SHRIVER Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. Masonic services will be Friday 6:45 P.M.
