Robert (Bob) Dean MacKenzie, age 93, of North Canton, passed away peacefully at St. Luke Lutheran Community on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. He was born on August 28, 1929 in Canton to the late Donald, Sr. and Mary MacKenzie. He retired from Timken Steel with over 30 years of service. He enjoyed bowling, gardening, antique cars, auto racing, working on cars, and was always excited for visits with his grandchildren. He leaves behind sister-in-law Joan MacKenzie; children Mickie (Bill) Anstine, Robert Jr. (Susan) MacKenzie and Bonnie Kupcho; grandchildren Kelli, Keith (Rebecca), Scott (Carolyn), Cindy, David (Sarah) and Michael (Ashley); 11 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Ada, his wife of 74 years, and his brother Donald Jr. A private service will be held. Donations may be made in Bob's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
