Robert H. Lancashire, age 79, of North Canton passed away Sunday afternoon in Mercy Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Detroit, MI to the late Ernest and Violet Gardner, he has resided here since 1946. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of North Canton where he served in many capacities. He and his loving wife, Linda, were Lutheran marriage encounter presenters for 22 years. Bob was an inductee in the Canton Amateur Hall of Fame for Fumble Ball and soft ball and was League Commissioner for the North Canton Ministerial Association Co-ed softball. Bob is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda; daughters, Debra Lancashire of Shang Hai, China and Diane (Lynn) Lancashire of Charlotte, NC; sons, Michael (Suzanne) of Florida and David (Jessica) of Boardman, OH; five grandchildren, Chelsea, Allie, Kylie, Carson and Brielle. A memorial service will be Friday 11:00 A.M. in Zion Lutheran Church of N. Canton. Friends may call on Thursday from 6 to 8 P.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W.
