Robert Atkinson Lamb age 82, of Canton passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at home. He was born April 21, 1932 in Canton to the late William H. Lamb and Marjorie A. Lamb. As a young man he attended Camp Kawanhee in Weld, Maine from 1940-44. Robert was a proud graduate of McKinley High School class of 1950, Veteran of the US Air force, established and retired from Bob Lamb's Glass Shop, avid fan of Ohio State Buckeyes, supporter of the Ohio Lincoln Highway League, Canton Jewish Community Center Ball Fund Raisers, and loved all things historical. Robert was a member of the Canton Jaycees that contributed to the development of Mother Goose Land Park in 1954. He was also a member of the Republican National Committee, Elks Lodge #68, Ohio Master Swim Club, Brookside Country Club, and a McKinley High School Booster. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Frances Lamb; brother David (Mary) Lamb; son William (Vicki) Lamb; son John (Elizabeth) Lamb; daughter Marjorie Lamb; 7 grandchildren, Adam Lamb, Chelsea Lamb, Rodney Ameridis, Emily Lamb, Haylee Lamb, Blaze Strawn, and Sage Strawn. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Robin Lamb. Funeral services will be graveside at the Northlawn Cemetery in Canton at 12pm Tuesday, April 21, 2015.
