Robert W. Haswell, age 95, of Middlebranch, passed away Monday afternoon in Aultman Hospital. He was born in Dover, Ohio to the late Oren and Fern (Sweitzer) Haswell. Robert was a graduate of Dover High School, a WWII Army Air Corps veteran, and a retired machinist. He enjoyed woodworking, bird watching and airplane and train modeling. Robert was a very kind and generous man. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Virginia, son, Charles, siblings; Joseph, Gene and Betty. Robert is survived by his loving daughters; Jeannette Haswell and Donna Melott of the home, 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter also survives. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. N.W. Interment with Military Honors will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
