Robert James Hallawell, born in Toronto, Ontario Canada December 31, 1923 died at home on March 19, 2007. Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, June Newman Hallawell. Also survived by his daughters: Elizabeth (Paul) Hafner, Martha Jane Traetow, and Heather Ann (Dan) Schwenker; and a son Peter. A much beloved Grampa he is survived by eight grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Mr. Hallawell graduated from the University of Toronto in 1947 and received a Master's Degree from Harvard in 1953. There will be no calling hours. A private family service will be held in Toronto, Ontario Canada. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Aultman Hospice 2821 Woodlawn Ave., N.W. Canton, OH 44708 or to Church of the Savior United Methodist 120 Cleveland Ave., S.W. Canton, OH 44702. The Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
