Robert J. Eklich, age 36, of North Canton passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, October 5, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born August 24, 1974 in Heilbron, Germany to Frank and Mary (Hope) Eklich. Robert had been a Pharmacy Tech with Giant Eagle and was a member of Maplegrove Mennonite Church. He love hunting, fishing, sports but above all, he was a dedicated and loving husband and father. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Maria with whom he would have celebrated 6 years of marriage on October 16; son Kyle Eklich; sister, Michelle; brothers, Frank, James and Kelly; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ben and Marie Sommers of Hartville. Calling hours are Thursday 6-9 p.m. at Maplegrove Mennonite Church 2121 Smith-Kramer Rd. N.E. Hartville. Funeral services will be Friday 10:00 a.m. at the Church with Pastor Myron Weaver and Pastor Vern Hostetler officiating. Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
