Robert C. Byrnes, age 76, of North Canton died Tuesday morning in his residence after an extended illness. Born in Massillon to the late Robert A. and Evelyn (Spicer) Byrnes he was retired from the Hoover Co. and was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Pauline on March 16, 1991. Survivors include a daughter: Mrs. Michael (Joanne) Page of Charlotte, NC. 2 sons: Michael (Roberta) Byrnes and Jeffrey Byrnes both of N. Canton. Six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral service will be Friday 9:00 A.M. in the Spiker-Foster-SHRIVER Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Avenue N.W. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
