Robert R. Broemsen, age 81. of Hartville, passed away Monday morning September 1, 2008. He was born at home in Louisville, Ohio on Jan. 10, 1927, the late George and Emma (Wearstler) Broemsen. He graduated from Louisville High School. He was retired from Monarch Rubber Co. where he worked as a tire finisher and received a 35 year service award. He was a World War II Veteran in the Air Force. He was a member of Werner United Methodist Church for 59 years. Bob grew up on a farm and loved the outdoors, gardening and playing cards with family and friends. He was preceded in death by brothers and sister-in-law, Ralph, Elden and Irma and brother-in-law Mr. Pumneo. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Wilma (Eshelman), three sons and daughters-in-law law, David and Patti of Hartville, Tim and Linda of North Canton, Doug and Trish of Medina; grandchildren, Denise, Katie (Jamie McCleaster) and Rachel; sister, Elnora Pumneo of Louisville, brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Ellie of North Canton and extra special friend Holly Smith of Hartville; three sister-in-laws, Ethel Eshelman, Hazel Werstler, Beryl Eshelman; other relatives and friends. Family and friends may call Wednesday 6 - 9 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home, Hartville. Funeral services are Thursday at 11 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Jeri Johnson officiating.
