Robert E. Boyd, age 55, of Canton passed away Saturday evening, March 1, 2014. He was born on March 22, 1958 in Fort Campbell, KY to William T. and Doris E. (Mallory) Boyd of Caledonia, NY. Bob was an Air Force Veteran, a member of the Church of the Covenant and the Greater Canton Men's Chorus. He was preceded in death by an infant sister Robin Boyd and a nephew Austin Boyd. Besides his parents he is survived by a daughter Laura (Matthew) Roeseler of St. Louis, MO and his grandsons Nick and Jack Roeseler; sister Rhonda (Wayne) Peltier of Colorado Springs, CO; brothers Ronald (Tracy) Boyd of Holley, NY and William (Sarah) Boyd of Avon, NY. He was a loving uncle to Jordan Boyd and Joshua Peltier. Bob also leaves behind his special friend Linda Ailes of Canton.
