Ricky Lee Miles, age 67 of Canton, Ohio, passed away at 2:50 p.m. on January 19, 2013 in Mercy Medical Center, the same hospital at which he was born on November 27, 1945. He was also raised in Canton, Ohio by his now deceased parents, Earl C. Miles (father) and Evelyn Nay Miles(mother). He lived in California for approximately 15 years, living most of those years in Sacramento, a few in Southern California, and spent time in one of his favorite places, the beautiful City of San Francisco, before returning to his home town of Canton, Ohio. He often spoke of moving back to the West Coast as he felt a great attachment to California, likely due to the many meaningful memories that were made there in his early adulthood. He is survived by his Sister, Jean Vargo of Canton, his children, Sean Earl Miles and Sandra Luella Miles both of Sonoma County, California; and his loving Niece and brother in Law, Beth and Jerry Wensel of Canton, Ohio. Ricky served in the U.S. Air Force in the 1960's and received an honorable discharge in 1971. He spent the majority of his adult career as a successful auto salesman and worked in management in a few largely known dealerships in Canton and California. He enjoyed spending his spare time as an avid golfer, building model cars/planes, and spending time with his friends. His family will miss the time which is now lost that could have been spent further living out their lives together. He will be honored by being laid to rest at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, in Rittman, Ohio.
