Richard R. (Dick) Seccombe, age 90, of North Canton died Friday evening in Aultman Hospital. Born in Canton to the late Richard & Minnie (Reis) Seccombe. Dick was a graduate of McKinley High School Class of 1939 and proudly served in the US Navy during WW II aboard the USS Stembel from 1941 to 1945 as a 1st Class Gunners Mate. He was the founder of Seco Machine in North Canton, OH. Dick loved playing golf and being a wonderful Grandfather. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Evelyn (Seccombe) Morgan. Survivors include his wife of 40 years Mary C. (Luzio) Seccombe. Children: Laura J. (Todd) Woofter, Richard D. Seccombe, Stephen M. (Susan) Seccombe, Thomas B. (Marcie) Seccombe, and Timothy R. Seccombe. Eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A brother-in-law and sister-in-law Del & Annette Rossio also survive. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 5 to 7 P.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. In keeping with his wishes a private interment will be for the family. Military service will be 7:00 P.M. Tuesday.
