Richard T. Schnars, age 46, of Uniontown, passed away, Monday, June 11, 2007 in Memphis, TN following an automobile accident. Richard was born on October 24, 1961 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Penn Hills High School in 1979, received his B.S. Degree from the University of Florida in 1983 and his law degree from the University of Akron in 1993. Richard worked for Roadway Express in Georgia and Florida before entering Law School. He was a partner in the Law Firm of Schnars, Baca and Infantino LLC. and was a member of the Ohio Bar and Akron Bar Associations. He was a former member of Congress Lake Club where he was a passionate golfer and two time Gin champion. Mr. Schnars was also an accomplished cook. He was preceded in death by his father Charles K. Schnars. Survivors include his wife Catherine H. Schnars, daughter Kristen Rose Schnars and son Clayton Edward Schnars; mother Rose Schnars of Uniontown, OH; sisters and brothers-in-law Nancy and Gene Rooney of Stuart, FL, Deborah and Steve Frank of Uniontown, OH., Karen and John Carroll of Newland, NC; brother and sister-in-law Ken and Lynda Schnars of Erie, PA; mother and father-in-law Rowe and Herb Rogero of Florida; best friend and cousin, David (Jami) Contardi of Sunrise, FL., many nieces, nephews cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8:00 PM at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM in the Uniontown United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Nolte officiating. Following the service there will be a brunch in the Church Social Hall where the family will also receive friends.
