IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Richard G.
Radosevic
April 7, 1936 – November 21, 2023
Richard (Dick) Radosevic of Canton passed away Tuesday, November 21, in his home
surrounded by family. He was born April 7, 1936, in Canton, Ohio to the late Theodore and
Sophia (Levnaich) Radosevic. He graduated from McKinley High School and the University of
Cincinnati (BSEE), where he met his future wife, Judith Gard, of Newark, Ohio. He worked at
Goodyear Aerospace (later, Loral Defense Systems and then Lockheed Martin) for 37 years as
an electrical engineer. Dick was a staunch supporter of urban living and felt strongly that those
who consider themselves followers of Jesus should live their lives accordingly by helping those
in need and making the world a better place whenever possible. To that end, he served on the
board of an alcohol/addiction services agency in Canton for 20 years and was a founding board
member of Canton Calvary Mission. He donated countless volunteer hours to Canton Calvary
Mission tutoring elementary school kids, and to Green Energy Ohio, where he received the
Volunteer of the Year Award in 2014. His church, Crossroads United Methodist (formerly
Church of the Savior) was the beneficiary of endless service hours. He taught adult Sunday
School, restructured the youth fellowship program in 1977, oversaw the poinsettia tree and
Christmas Eve luminaries for years, and was heavily involved in the Rays of Hope and Kid's City
programs for inner-city children after his retirement in the early 2000s. In his later years, he
enjoyed participating in the Schantz MakerSpace group of Wooster as well as RV camping with
the Buckeye Winnies, serving as president of his chapter and of the Wandering Ohio Winnies
for several years, and was always up for playing a game of Euchre.
Dick is preceded in death by his wife, Judy, of almost 56 years, his two brothers, Raymond and
Theodore (both of Canton), his two sisters, Nettie Mode (Rhinelander, WI) and Nellie Jordan
(McKinleyville, CA) and a son-in-law Cary Coleman (Cincinnati). He is survived by his five
children: Jill Coleman of Cincinnati, Tracy Radosevic of Baltimore, Tamra (Robert) Weemes of
Moss Bluff, LA, Greg (Tricia) Radosevic of Canton and Eric Radosevic of Canton, and six
grandchildren: Tyler, Kelley and Carly Coleman, Gaby Weemes, Sophia and Anna Radosevic.
