Obituary

Richard J. Niklas II, age 43 of Kingsland, Georgia, passed away unexpected on Sunday, October 28, 2012. He was born and raised in Northeast Ohio and a graduate of Lake High School. He played college football for the University of Toledo and later graduated from Akron University with a degree in Business and Organizational Communication. He had resided in Southeast Georgia for the last 13 years. He spent most of his career in the construction industry in sales and management and for 9 years owned and operated his own paver company in Georgia. Most recently, he accepted an opportunity with Aaron's Leasing continuing to pursue his goals in the field of business management. Richard was a devoted husband and father and spent his free time with his wife, children and family. He loved his children very much and he will be missed greatly. He is survived by his wife, JoAda; children Vairek and Ella; mother Mildred Niklas of Hartville; sisters Hope Paladines of Chicago, IL and Holly Michel of Canal Fulton, OH; father-in-law Tony Lesho, mother-in-law Marlena Lesho and brother-in-law Anthony Lesho Jr. all of Kingsland, GA. He was preceded in death by his father Richard J. Niklas. Calling hours are Tuesday 1-3 & 5-7 PM at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. Funeral Services begin Tuesday at 7PM at the funeral home with Jay Morgart officiating. A procession will form Wednesday at 10 AM at the funeral home for arrival to Mount Peace Cemetery for 10:30 AM graveside committal services.
