Richard "Dick" Neumann, age 80, of North Canton passed away on Sunday October 12, 2008 with his family by his side. He was born in Canton on April 13, 1928 to the late Frank and Ida (Klesse) Neumann and was a 1946 graduate of Timken High School. Dick was an area manager of Steel Operations for Timken and retired after 45 years of service. He was a member and former deacon of Trinity Baptist Church. He enjoyed woodworking, golfing and bowling. Survived by his wife of 59 years Jo Ann; daughters Debby (Greg) Hamilton of Canton, Becky (Chuck) Hostetler of Massillon, Tami Neumann of Canton, MI; grandchildren Donald (Lisa) Hamilton of VA, Christine (Randy) Johnson of Massillon, Kenneth (Kim) Hostetler of Columbus, Hailey and Brandon Watson of MI; great-grandchildren Matthew Cook, Alex, Ryan and Trevor Hamilton; brother John (Millie) Neumann of Navarre; other relatives and friends. Calling hours are Thursday 5-8 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home Canton and an hour before services Friday 10-11 AM. Funeral services are Friday 11 AM in the funeral home with Pastor David Wright officiating. Final resting place is Forest Hill Cemetery.
