Richard E. Domer, age 77, of North Canton, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones after a short illness on Sunday, September 24, 2006, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, OH. Dick was born on January 11, 1929 to the late Marcella and Chester Domer of North Canton. He graduated from NOCAHI (the present Hoover High School) in 1947; and proudly served our Nation in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. He was employed with Ashland Oil Refinery of Canton retiring after 42 years of dedicated service. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his son, Cliff Domer of North Canton. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Anita Jean (Kane) Domer; his son, Daniel Domer and wife Anouck of New York City; his daughter, Debbie Domer Coury and husband, John of Canton; his daughter, Linda Domer Ceteras and husband Colonel Tim Ceteras of Windham, New Hampshire; sister, Shirley Domer Daniluk and husband George of North Canton; brother, Robert Domer of Yorba Linda, CA; his five grandchildren, Emily, JohnGrant, Olivia, Phillip Coury and Jenna Ceteras; numerous nieces, nephews; and his beloved canine companion, Lady. A private graveside service will be 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in North Lawn Cemetery with Rev. David Tebbs officiating. Music will be presented by Steve Dallas.
