Richard Davis Raff III, affectionately known as R.D. to family and friends, passed away peacefully at the Cleveland Clinic on Monday, January 25 at the age of 63. R.D. was born on June 29, 1957 and was a lifelong resident of Canton, OH. He attended The Hill School in Pottstown, PA, Kent State University and was a graduate of Canton Lehman High School class of 1975. R.D. was an exceptional golfer, an enthusiastic fan of sports of every level and for a time served as an assistant coach for Jackson High School girls Lacrosse. He was also a proud father and grandfather and enjoyed the love of his family and friends. R.D. had a very easy-going and likeable personality that will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

R.D. was preceded in death by his father Richard Davis Raff Jr. and is survived by his three children Davis (Ashley) Raff, Karie (fiancé Eric Gehlbach) Raff and Tyler Raff, grandchildren Rory Raff and Finn Raff, his parents Ann and David Renkert and brother Andrew Raff. A private service will be held on Friday, January 29 at the Arnold Funeral Home, 1517 Market Ave. N., Canton, OH 44714 with The Reverend George Baum presiding.
