Richard E. Antenuce Jr, age 66, of North Canton passed away September 15, 2023, at Summa Hospital following health complications. He was born in Canton on December 18, 1956, to Richard E. and Esther (Patten) Antenuce. Rick was a 1975 graduate from Glenwood High School. He worked as a facilities manager at Mercy Medical Center and VXI Global Solutions. Rick enjoyed vacations to Bar Harbor, Yellowstone, Alaska and many other destinations. Rick had a love for flying, he had his private pilot's license, he enjoyed sky diving. Building model rockets was also a hobby he enjoyed.
Rick is survived by his wife of 23 years, Eldie, step-daughter Christine Thomas; grandchildren Justin and Alicia Thomas; father Richard Antenuce Sr.; siblings Cindy McCracken, Linda (Steve) Lasch and Brian (Diane) Antenuce. He is preceded in death by his mother Esther.
The family wishes to thank his team at Summa Hospital ICU and Palliative Care in Akron, Ohio.
Calling hours will be Thursday, September 21 at the Arnold & Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home at 4817 Cleveland Ave NW from 5-7 PM. The family will receive guests one hour prior to the Memorial service that will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Church of the Lakes with Pastor Brian George officiating. In lieu of flowers, please take someone you love out for a nice dinner or make a donation to a charity of your choice.
