Rebecca Evans McCoy, died on June 4, 2017 at Windsor Medical Center. She was born on April 26, 1917 in North Canton to Elta Coleman Evans and Harrison (Harry) Garfield Evans. She was a graduate of North Canton High School and attended Denison College. Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband, Wyn E. McCoy; son, Don Evans McCoy; daughter, Gina McCoy and grandson, Michael Evans McCoy. She is survived by daughter, Myra McCoy; daughter-in-law, Rita Keffler McCoy; granddaughters, Rebecca Jeffries and Lisa (Phil) Gigliotti and seven great-grandchildren. Rebecca was a former member of the Canton Woman's Club, the Women's Board of Aultman Hospital, the Friends of Little Art Gallery in North Canton, Hoover Historical Center Advisory Council, North Canton Heritage Society and a third generation member of The Ladies Literary Club of North Canton. She also was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church. Both she and her husband were long-time supporters of Planned Parenthood of Ohio. At her request, a private graveside service will be held in North Canton Cemetery. Please sign the guest book.
