Raymond E. Roshong, age 87 of Zephyrhills, Florida, formerly of Canton, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012. Born March 9, 1925 in Canton to Herman and Zelah (Kantzer) Roshong, he graduated from Canton Township High School in 1943. Raymond was a WW II Navy Veteran and a former member of First United Church of Christ in Canton. He retired in 1980 from the Postal Service where he was a Mail Carrier in Downtown Canton with 32 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edwena in 2008; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Robert McConnell of Carrollton, Ohio, Debra and Dennis Kranak of Burgettstown, Pennsylvania; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brother Jack Roshong of NC; sister-in-law Wanda Roshong of Canton; and special friend Audrey Fletcher of FL. Funeral services will be Thursday 11:00 a.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton with Pastor Michael Doak officiating.
