Raymond "Pastor" Cook, 79, resident of Middlebranch, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday evening, December 18, 2008 shortly after being diagnosed with a lung disease. He was born in Louisa, KY on May 27, 1929 to Sam and Sarah (Frye) Cook. He retired in 1988 after 37 years of service at Babcock & Wilcox, but remained a dedicated servant for the Lord as a Pastor until his death. Survived by his wife of 59 years Joyce; son Dale Cook, daughters and sons-in-law Kathie and Rick Powell, Lynne and Bill Graber, Lori Lantz; grandchildren Tara and Scott Arndt, Holly Errington, Brittany Lynn, Jeremy and Julie Powell, Katie and Thomas Marskell, Matt Graber, Amanda and Phil Johnson, Seth Lantz and Faith Lantz; great-granddaughter Alex Errington; brother Gene (Pauline) Cook.
