Dr. Rand Allen Luckner, 72, of Hartville, Ohio passed away suddenly on August 18, 2022.

Rand was born on October 13th, 1949 in Canton, Ohio to Clark and Donna Luckner.  After graduating from The Ohio State University, Rand founded and managed his own dentistry practice in Hartville for over forty years.  In retirement, he made the most of his well-earned free time and spent it traveling with his wife, Laura and making amazing memories with his children and grandchildren. He was a patron of local business, a champion for grace and community, and will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have a relationship with him.

Rand is survived by his wife of 18 years, Laura Luckner; siblings, Robert (Catherine) Luckner; Kim (Jeaneen) Luckner; Sue (Jim) Borton; three children: Peter (Melissa) Luckner, Molly (Bret) Chumley-Luckner, and Leigh (Gregory) Wertman; three step-children: Samantha (Jeremy) Petrey, Allison (Steven) Pettyjohn, Michael (Jennifer) Majdeski; seven grandchildren: Camilla, Lane, Nora, Kate, Monroe, Murphy, and Parker and several other nieces and nephews.

Memorial calling hours to pay respects will be held at Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville, OH on Saturday, September 10th from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.   Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Lions Club International, Hartville Chapter, P. O. Box 273, Hartville, OH 44632-9433.
