Ralph L. Kauffman, age 78, of North Canton, passed away Tuesday in Aultman Hospital. Born in North Canton to the late William and Vallah (Whyler) Kauffman. Ralph was a graduate of Jackson High School, served in the Navy playing basketball and was retired from Leff Electrical in New Philadelphia. Ralph enjoyed vacationing and taking cruises as well as gardening and working in his workshop. In addition to his parents Ralph was preceded in death by his wife Penny who passed away in January 2010. Survivors include children; Christopher Wertman, Rebecca Kauffman, Joy Deyarmon, Delyte Delong and Gibby Deyarmon, 16 grandchildren; and a sister; Gloria Ginsburg. Funeral Service Friday, 7 P.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. N.W. with Rev. Gary Smith officiating. Friends may call 5 to 7 P.M. Friday.
