Phyllis Lockshin passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014. She was born October 28, 1929 in Cleveland to the late Max & Miriam Oster. Phyllis was a graduate of Cleveland Heights High School and The Ohio State University. Phyllis and Jerrold were members of the OSU Presidents Club for more than 30 years. Phyllis loved everything OSU, especially TBDBITL. She enjoyed her swimming pool and flower gardens, where she constantly entertained family, friends, and neighbors. Phyllis was a kind and generous person that was beloved by all who knew her. Her greatest joy came from her adoring grandchildren. Survived by her brother Richard (Nancy) Oster; children,Lawrence (Janet Henrie) Lockshin, Thomas (Beth) Lockshin, and Cathy (Mark) Baer; grandmother of Hannah & Nathaniel (Mandy) Lockshin, Zara & Benjamin Lockshin, and Daniel & Andrea Baer. Services will be Monday, July 28 at 12 noon at Shaaray Torah Synagogue, 432 30th St. NW in Canton. Calling hours following internment on Monday at Shaaray Torah Synagogue until 4:00 pm; at the home on Monday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 pm and Tuesday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
