Phyllis Ann Jacobs, age 86, of Massillon, died Wednesday evening, January 7, 2015,in the Laurals of Massillon where she received wonderful care. She was born December 18, 1928 in Canton to William M. and Evelyn "Emma" (Greenfield) Jacobs. Phyllis graduated from Massillon Washington High School in 1946, attended Ohio State University and graduated from Canton Actual Business College. She worked as a Legal Secretary for Yost & Yost Attorneys in Massillon and was a member of Shaaray Torah Synagogue, Canton Jewish Community Center and the Wilderness Center in Wilmot. She is survived by her best friends, Gladys Sibila and Lila Levine. Graveside funeral services will be Friday 2:00 p.m. in Canton Hebrew Cemetery with Cantor Bruce Braun officiating.
