Obituary

Phineas Miller, Jr., age 66, of Hartville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday April 3, 2018. He was born on August 25, 1951 in Canton to the late Phineas and Emma (Schlabaugh) Miller. After a life-long career in construction, he was semi-retired and enjoyed traveling. He was a member of Maple Grove Mennonite Church. He was an avid hunter, golfer and loved attending his grandchildren's sporting events.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Sylvia; children Steven (Holly), Ryan (Heidi), Matthew; grandchildren Cierra, Koby, Taelor, Braidon, Casey, Audrey and Chelsea; siblings William (Alta), Alta Hershberger, Miriam Yoder, Glen (Marie), Nelson (Betty), Rhoda (Paul) Yoder, Mary (Larry) Johnson, Martha (Alan) DiGiovanni, Elsie (Kermit) Zimmerman; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brother Mervin.

Calling hours are Friday 12 noon- 3 PM and 5 PM- 8 PM at Maple Grove Mennonite Church. Funeral services are Saturday 10 AM in the church with Pastor Verle Brubaker officiating. Final resting place is Walnut Grove Cemetery.

His journey is over and he is at peace.
