Philip E. Lam, age 67, of Hartville went home to be with the Lord on Thursday morning February 6, 2020 after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on October 28, 1952 to the late Virgil and Flossie (Davis) Lam. He served in the Army. He met and married Sharon Sommers on May 1, 1976. He spent his career as a carpenter. He was a member of Evermore Community Church.

He is survived by his wife Sharon; son Mitchell (Rachel) Lam; daughter Michele (Jason) Lynch; grandchildren Kasey, Tucker, Sawyer and Savannah Lam and Jaden and Jaxon Lynch; siblings Edna (Gil) Smith, Barbara Mowbrey, Janet Williams, Ruth (Jim) Will, Virgil (Mary) Lam, Donnie (Vickie) Lam; and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by sister Bonnie Mercia.

Calling hours are Sunday 2-5 PM at Evermore Community Church and an hour before services. Funeral services are Monday 11 AM at the church. Final resting place is the church cemetery.
