Philip F. Hooper, age 83, of North Canton, passed away Monday April 30, 2007 at St. Lukes. Born in Lynn, MA on February 22, 1924 to the late Irvin and Lillian Hooper, graduated from Ohio University with a degree in engineering and served in the Navy. He retired from Goodyear Aerospace. He enjoyed fishing in New York and LaBatt Blue. Preceded in death by his wife Phyllis in 1992 who he missed dearly and brothers Irvin and Donald Hooper; Philip is survived by his daughter Becky Luckner of North Canton; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Catherine Hooper of CA; 3 grandchildren, Peter Luckner of Akron, Molly Luckner and Leigh Luckner both of Columbus. A graveside funeral will be held Saturday 1:00 PM at Mount Peace Cemetery Hartville with Pastor Donald Rice officiating.
