Peter Paul Yerem, age 92, of North Canton, Passed away Sunday evening in St. Luke Lutheran Home for the Aging; after a short stay. Peter was born in Westville, Illinois to George and Anna (Hadzer) Yerem, he served in the Army during World War II and in the Civilian Conservation Corps., retired from Hercules Motors in 1976, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and creating decorative candles. Peter was preceded in death by a son; Peter C. Yerem, his parents, brothers; George, Charles, Andrew, John, and Joseph, sisters; Mary, Lanny, Anita, and Katherine. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years; Margaret Arlene, daughters; Judith Reolfi and Margaret "Honey" (Terry) Bowling, son; Thomas G. Yerem, all of North Canton. 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Thursday, 11 AM in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. NW, with Deacon Ron Reolfi officiating, Friends may call Wednesday 6-8 PM and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers Contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
