Paul E. Swisher, age 84, of Louisville, died Saturday afternoon in Mercy Medical Center. Born in Alliance, OH, to the late George and Cleda (Creath) Swisher Paul was a 1940 graduate of McKinley High School. A Navy Veteran of WW II he was an electrical engineer having retired from TRW. Paul was a member of William McKinley Lodge # 431 F & AM for over 60 years, AASR Valley of Canton and the Shrine. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Iona who died in 2004, and a sister sister: Donna Bednarz. He is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Jeff (Carole) Zelaya of Louisville, and Mrs. Michael (Barbara) Pearce of North Carolina. Three grandchildren: Jennifer Sanders of California, Brandy Borgersrode and Ryan Swisher both of North Carolina. Funeral service will be Thursday 10:30 A.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 7 P.M. Entombment will be in North Lawn Mausoleum. A Masonic service will be on Wednesday 4:45 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to William McKinley Lodge c/o 836 Market Ave., N. Canton, OH 44702
