Knoch
December 2, 1922 – May 25, 2016
Paul A. Knoch, age 93, of Canton, passed away Wednesday evening at The Inn at Belden Village following an extended illness. A lifetime resident of Canton, he graduated from McKinley High School, class of 1941. Paul served as M Sgt Construction Battalion in the Army from 1943 - 1946. He was Vice President of A. A. Knoch & Sons, a construction company founded by his father. An 81 year member of Christ Presbyterian Church, Paul served as elder, deacon, and long time member of the Property Committee. In addition to his parents, Arthur A. and Esther (Jago) Knoch, he was preceded in death by his son, David P. Knoch in 1996; his brother and business partner, Donald; and his sister, Evelyn Maust Arbuckle. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Patricia (Burch) Knoch, and his son, James A. Knoch. The family wishes to express their heart-felt thanks to the staff of The Inn at Belden Village and Crossroads Hospice for all of their care and concern. A memorial service will be Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. in Christ Presbyterian Church with Rev. David de Vries and Rev. Eldon Trubee officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church parlor. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Camp Wakonda or the Property Maintenance Endowment of Christ Presbyterian Church, 530 Tuscarawas St., W, Canton, Ohio 44702.
