Paul D. Keener, age 73, of North Canton, passed away on Sunday September 21, 2008 with his family by his side after a battle with melanoma. Born in Hartville on May 14, 1935 to the late Carleton and Edith (Zartman) Keener, he attended Hartville High, worked for the Hartville Grain Elevator, and retired from Teledyne Monarch after 38 years of service. Paul will be remembered most for his infinite devotion to his wife, children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Shirley, they would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on December 7th; children Dale Keener, Debra and Larry Flounders, Diane and Tim Henson, Dawn and Gary Blythe; grandchildren Andrew and Christopher Flounders, Allyson and Lauren Haley, Holly and Brandon Henson, Blaire and Gwyn Blythe, Matthew, Adam and Daniel Keener; brother Bob and Rita Keener; other family and friends. Calling hours are Wednesday 5-8 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. Funeral services will be Thursday 11 AM in the funeral home with Pastor David Ryan officiating.
