Paul L. W. Coons, age 69, of Canton, was born to the late Leslie and Elizabeth Coons in Albany, New York on May 14, 1949 and passed on December 27, 2018 after a brief illness. Paul was a 1967 graduate of Glenwood High School. Upon graduation from high school, Paul attended The Ohio State University where he was on the football team under Woody Hayes. Paul then attended and graduated from Albany College of Pharmacy in New York, where he was a member of Kappa Psi Fraternity. Paul was a retired pharmacy manager for over 40 years. He was an avid sports fan by following The New York Yankees baseball, Cleveland Browns football, The Ohio State football, Boston Celtics basketball and Montreal Canadians hockey. In his spare time, he was a classic car owner and car show enthusiast. His true passion and love was treatment and care of animals. Survived by family, Marc Coons, Midland, MI, David Coons, Danielle (Joe) Klausner and sister, Victoria Coons. Paul shall be missed greatly by all who knew him. There will be no services.
