Patricia M. Yapko, age 85, of Canton, reunited with her husband in Heaven on Wednesday January 4, 2017. She was born in Canton on June 21, 1931. Even though she spent some years working outside her home, her true calling was making a home for her family and friends. She never met a stranger.

She is survived by her children Michael and Scherry Yapko, David and Cathy Yapko, Sharyl and Buster Strickland, Barb and John Koppe, Tom Yapko; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband William M. Yapko Dec. 30, 2005; mother Margaret, father John Thomas Crowley and step-mother Midge; siblings and son William Greg Yapko.

Calling hours are Friday (TODAY) 5-7 PM at Arnold Funeral Home Canton and 1 hour prior to services 9:30-10:30 AM. Funeral services are Sat 10:30 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Rufus Hofelt officiating. Final resting place is Sunset Hills Burial Park.
