Patricia L. Troyer, age 70, of Canton passed away Tuesday evening after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Canton to the late Donald W. and Donna J. (Little) Geitgey. Patricia enjoyed gardening, cooking, and her trips to the casino. However, what Patricia enjoyed most of all was spending time with her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as she was an amazing mother, grandmother and aunt. She will be remembered by her selflessness and generous acts of kindness toward others. Survivors include her husband, Albert E Troyer, with whom she shared almost 49 years of marriage; mother, Donna J. Geitgey; daughter, Lauri (Michael) Paniccia of Cincinnati; son, Jeffrey (Erin) Troyer of Canton; five grandchildren, Rachel (Gopal) Gaba, Anthony and Dominic Paniccia, Nolan and Kyla Troyer; sisters, Jenifer (Harry) Canoles, Rebeca Geitgey; brothers, Donald (Sueann) and Randy Geitgey; and many nieces and nephews.
