Patricia L. "PT" Tidwell, age 77, passed away on Wednesday March 22, 2023. A life resident of Stark County, she was preceded in death by parents Ralph and Eleanor (Becker) Tidwell; brothers John and Thomas Tidwell; grandparents John and Estella Tidwell, Adam and Edith Becker; uncles Elwyn (Catherine) Becker and Sgt. Donald (Lois) Becker.

In 1971, she found her dream job working at Camelot Music for 25 years enjoying the show biz life. In 1998 her passion and mission became the rescuing of retired racing greyhounds and finding them forever homes. She helped the military by sending packages to K-9 Soldiers, both 2-legged and 4-legged. Pat served as secretary of Friends of Ft. Laurens Foundation and was a member of the Canton Lincoln High School Alumni Association.

She is survived by brother Dennis (Doris) Tidwell; niece Candice and nephew Thomas Tidwell; and special friend Ted Harvey.

A committal of cremains will be scheduled June 16th Friday 11:00 AM at Forest Hill Cemetery. All those attending come prepared to share comments about Pat and bring your own lawn chair and no balloons (they're bad for the environment) and will be announced on the funeral home website. Memorial contributions may be made to Lincoln High School Alumni, Ft. Laurens Foundation or an Ohio Greyhound Rescue Group. The family extends special thanks to Aultman Hospice for their exceptional care.
