Obituary

Keegan, Pamela L. (Morgan), 60, of East Greenwich, RI died of heart failure on Friday, February 9, 2007 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife of Edward J. Keegan, and the daughter-in-law of Eleanor E. Keegan, of East Greenwich, and the late Edmund J. Keegan. Pam was born in Canton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Maurice L. Morgan and Wynifred I. (Shull) Gilbert, and step-daughter of the late Richard G. Gilbert. She was an avid boater enjoying the waters and sites of coastal New England particularly Newport and Block Island. She also enjoyed gardening, reading, home decorating and travel. Her home was her pride and joy. Spending time with her large family and many lifelong friends was one of her pleasures. Mrs. Keegan was a graduate of Lehman HS and Centennary College, Hackettstown, NJ. She was employed by Diebold Inc. in Canton from 1966 until her retirement and relocation to RI in 1990. She was a member of the DAR. Besides her husband and mother-in-law, she is survived by her maternal aunt Betty Joanne McKinney wife of Robert McKinney of Canton; step mothers Margie Morgan and Helen Gilbert both of Canton; her husband's loving children, Kirsten Keegan Vasquez of Milwaukee, WI, Michael J. Keegan of Charlestown RI, and Alecia L. Keegan of North Kingstown RI; three sisters, Rene Gilbert of Anthem, AZ, Mindy (Morgan) Dollive of Canton, OH, and Dana Gilbert of Cincinnati, OH; three brothers, Jeffrey Gilbert of Chicago, IL, Gregory Morgan of Canton, OH, and Jeffrey Morgan of Chicago, IL; her three step-grandchildren, Jacob, Nicholas, and Anna-Katja Keegan; and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours are Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. in the Arnold Funeral Home, 1517 Market Ave N, Canton. The funeral service will be Saturday at 10 AM at the Arnold Funeral Home with Pastor David L. deVries officiating. Entombment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery Canton.
